‘Good afternoon, big sister Jessica,’ both Prince and Celine greeted her at the same time.
‘Is Sharon back from Lagos?’ Jessica asked Prince as she got into the car.
Celine got into the car, and took a seat beside Prince. They were both sitting in the back while Jessica sat in the driver’s seat.
Prince clicked his tongue, and then said, ‘She will be back this evening… she’s your best friend. Maybe, you should ask her yourself.’
Jessica smiled as she started the engine of her car. Celine placed her rucksack on her lap and explained while burying her head in her bag to dig out a piece of paper, and gently said, ‘These are the stuffs I want to buy if Felix came to collect me. But since you came instead, I will like it if you take me to Grace Shopping mall for a walk.’ She pouted playfully. ‘It’s a big shopping mall of luxurious brands.’
‘Are you going for a walk or to buy luxurious stuff?’ Jessica glanced at Celine and asked as she drove the car.
‘I need bags, scarves, high heels… Audrey’s 18th birthday is coming up soon… I need to happily buy some stuff.’
Studying Jessica’s mood, Prince said to Celine, ‘Jessica is in low spirit… your big cousin Michael broke up with her… why not we go together on Saturday?’ he smiled lovingly at Celine.
