The moment I met you (Chapter 237)

 By Nightengale Ben-Onyeukwu

‘Who even invited you to this party?’Julia asked, casting a devilish glare at Chioma and Chisom.

‘I was about to ask you that same question,’Chioma scoffed.

‘How would I answer such a stupid question from a foodie who couldn’t resist herself when she saw food…’Julia arrongantly said.

‘Isn’t that why you are here? To stuff yourself full… It’s no shame if you pat your round stomach.’Chioma snapped.

Just as Chioma said that, Julia belched. Julia felt embarassed as both Chioma and Chisom laughed at her.

‘This scheming bitch is playing coy with Felix now that Michael is away. She even had to dance with him,’Dara said quickly, trying to make Chioma feel guilty.

Hearing what Dara said, Chioma laughed. ‘Look young lady. You’re so ugly when you leave your own business to mind other people’s business.  Anyone will think that you’re busy body… you must look at yourself first. Stop being a household pest else I might use Boric acid on you.’She turned to Chisom, and with a smile she said, ‘Chisom, I am tired of sharing my time with these cringe-worthy critters.’ She turned away.

‘Girl, you can rip off a man’s chest with your harsh words. I didn’t expect you to say this…’Chisom was unable to control her laughter as she walked away with Chioma.

After gulping down the remaining water in the bottle, Chisom spotted a trash can, opened the lid and threw the empty bottle inside it, then, wiped away the water on her mouth.

Julia was so furious at how Chioma and Chisom mingled around as though they owned the place that she wanted to slap them so much that they bleed to death. But then, this was Audrey’s birthday. For old time sake, she had to calm down in order not to ruin the happy moment. Julia had been close to Audrey because the butler at Diamond Gardens was her uncle. She was allowed to the house, so it was normal for her to be invited here as well.
