The moment I met you (Chapter 62)

  By Nightengale Ben-Onyeukwu

The following day as Robert headed for Michael’s office, he wondered why his boss would fall in love with such a disgusting girl like Chioma Chima. She must be a mermaid for Michael to be bewitched by her. He had met many girls who were ready to throw themselves at Michael, but never succeeded. Even his rumoured fiancée, Jessica Nnaji, was hundred times more beautiful. She had a good figure, slim waist, slender long legs, elegant shoulders and exquisite collar bones and was willing to give herself to him. But to Michael, she would only remain as childhood friends, which everyone thought they had been- nothing more.

Stepping out of the elevator at the top floor, he walked to Michael’s office. But paused in his steps when he reached the door, afraid of how Michael would react when he reads the document in his hand. As he looked at the tightly shut door, he took several deep breathes, then reached out and pushed the door open. Robert was no doubt handsome in his dark blue shirt.

Michael glanced up at Robert walking into his office. Michael glared at him, and then his gaze fell on the document in Robert’s hand. It seemed that at that moment the anger on his face disappeared.

Robert held up the document towards him. ‘This is all you need to know about Chioma Chima.’

Michael swept his gaze over Robert without any intention of   saying any word to him. Today, he was donning on a Giorgio Armani stunning black suit, looking elegant and poised.

Robert didn’t pass the document to Michael but instead placed it on the desk. ‘I’ll put the document here. When you are done with signing those files, you can look through Chioma Chima’s files.’ He turned to leave.
