The moment I met you (Chapter 64)

  By Nightengale Ben-Onyeukwu

Just as Michael was happily flipping through the documents, Jessica walked in.

‘Michael…’

‘Yes?’ Michael answered, not looking at her.

Sweeping her eyes around the office, Jessica looked at Michael and asked, ‘Will you be free tonight?’

‘No… always busy.’ Michael’s indifferent response showed his lack of interest.

‘What about tomorrow?’ she asked, still glancing around.

‘You’re not completely deaf, are you?’ He leisurely gazed up at her with his frigid eyes.

Jessica had a long wavy hair, she looked sweet and cute. Over her white sweater adorned with pomegranate was a fancy mid-length red cloak which made her look like a princess. And on her dainty feet were matching high heels. She had a white Dior handbag.

This young woman had attracted lots of admirers in the socialites’ circle- with countless rich and powerful suitors knocking at the door of her heart. But she always ignored them with the reason that her heart would only accept Michael.

She stared at the Chandelier on the ceiling which with its exquisite workmanship was of course a rare item, and then her eyes darted towards the paintings on the wall.

‘Are you done staring at the familiar office?’ Michael asked coldly.
