The moment I met you (Chapter 83)

  By Nightengale Ben-Onyeukwu

The uniform look stunning on the students; it consisted of grey pleated mini skirt for girls, dress trousers for boys, a white shirt with sleeves and a collar, a jacket, a vest, a tie and white socks. The cost of uniform for each student cost 300 dollars. The school was indeed the best. Only those whose parents burn cash are opportune to attend.  Only a few poor folks were allowed to attend, and it had been based on scholarship gotten through excellent academic results.

Classes had just ended when she arrived at the school. Chioma could see the students dazzling in their beautiful uniform that had cost a fortune, and their fancy schoolbags of different colours. She looked herself from head to toe, and felt that she was unqualified to be here. The students were scattered around the school grounds.

Chioma glanced around searching for Celine. She dialled her number, and it rang.

‘Coming… Wait for me at the gate,’ the girl said in a huff and hung up.

Chioma stood at the entrance for more than ten minutes, before a beautiful girl just as Audrey had described appeared before her.

‘Celine…?’

‘Do you doubt my name?’ Celine frowned. ‘Bring me home.’ She turned to leave.

But just as Chioma was about to follow Celine out, a flashy sports car pulled in front of Celine.

Celine opened the door and got into the car. ‘Good afternoon, big brother Felix.’

Felix nodded with a smile.

It was after Celine settled inside the car and put on her seat belt that she remembered Chioma who was outside.
