The moment I met you (Chapter 116)

  By Nightengale Ben-Onyeukwu

At Diamond Snow Secondary School, and in SS3A class, Celine sat leisurely on her desk, reading Bill Clinton and James Patterson’s The president Is Missing. The boy sitting on the desk next to her was wearing headphones and unconsciously bobbing his head. The girl on Celine’s other side kept flipping her wavy dark hair from one shoulder to the other. On top of the girl’s desk was Barack Obama’s Dreams From My Father, she had borrow from Celine.

Celine had told the class about the interesting story of the book, and so many of the students wanted to read this story of race and inheritance which was a memoir by Barack Obama, on which he explores the events of his early years in Honolulu and Chicago until his entry into Harvard Law school in 1988.

The seats in every class of the school were arranged according to their status ranking. Since Celine’s family held the highest ranking, she had to sit in the first row. In the seat in the first row next to the window was a boy, playing with his tablet.

The boy had a neat cut, fitting hair with earphones playing and was lazily seated on his desk reading a book, which was Donald Trump’s Think Like a ChampionThe glowing sun poured deliciously on the boy’s handsome, well chiseled face, causing him to look like an international model on the front page of  an international fashion magazine. He was Prince Ojukwu, the school hunk and an intellectual. His father has been president of Nigeria since 2015. He had secured the titled of the school’s hunk due to his good-looks.

Hearing footsteps coming towards him, prince glanced over. He handed the girl the book he had borrowed from her, then waved her to go.
