The moment I met you (Chapter 117)

By Nightengale Ben-Onyeukwu

‘You don’t have to give it back if you’re still reading it,’ the girl said, placing the book back on the desk.

The students in Class A all had a formidable background. It was a symbol of status to be able to study at Diamond Snow Secondary School. If they were in any way expelled from the school, they would suffer at the hands of their family because they had ruined their family reputation.  In other words, studying at Diamond Snow Secondary School was a kind of status boost, and being in Class A meant that you are among the cream of the crop. No one would like to ruin their family reputation, would they?

Celine who was reading instinctively glanced at Prince, and he looked back at her coincidentally. The both smiled sweetly at each other.

Upon seeing the both of them smiling at each other, the girl that had approached Prince glowered at Celine. Then, she walked back to her seat without saying a word.

Meanwhile, at Moon Corporation, Michael felt tired of signing the pile of documents that sat on his office table as he played around with the pen in his hand. He had no intention of continuing with the signing.

Robert walked in, holding a file as he said, ‘Sir Michael you’ve dinner with the CEO of Mars Corporation today by 6pm.’

‘That’s not necessary, just tell him to send in his proposal,’ Michael said, not paying attention.

‘The board meeting will commence by 12pm.’

‘Felix will handle it.’
