Everyone sat down to eat the lavish food spread on the table. What seemed like a father and son breakfast turned into a family feast? Michael sat across from Felix and the two of them seem to have thoughts running through their minds.
‘Now that we’re complete, I think I should use this opportunity to ask some questions,’ Edward said, and both Michael and Felix glanced at each other.
‘Is Michael getting married to Jessica?’ Isabelle asked with a smile.
Michael was angry at Isabelle’s innocent question, but he was still able to conceal his anger.
Edward glanced at Michael. ‘Son, how come you don’t want to marry Jessica?’
Michael was silent.
‘Son, I had you proposed to a lowly girl, was that true?’
‘Very true,’replied Michael.
‘Do you think you will be
happy with her?’
