The moment I met you (Chapter 168)

   By Nightengale Ben-Onyeukwu

By evening, Audrey drove a silvery-grey Porsche to the pool party hosted by one of her coursemate who was doing her 21st birthday.  Arriving at the mansion where the party was going on, Audrey saw her coursemates dressed in hot bikinis and some dressed in swimming trunks, everyone laughing and having fun in the pool. Audrey glanced around and found out that not everyone was in their swimming suits… some were still in their formal attires by the side, chatting and giggling. A few of the girls came with their boyfriends; flirting, drinking, eating scrumptious meals and fruits, chatting and even swimming together. The people here all seemed to be from wealthy families, and they appeared to be pampered, and had never been through difficult times.

Audrey didn’t want to change into a bathing suit, so she decided to grab a drink while she watched others swim.

‘Don’t you want to swim?’ a young man in a blue and black tight swimming trunk asked Audrey with a smile.

Audrey turned to him, and with a smile she said, ‘I didn’t come to swim.’She looked at his perfect body which he had taken time to take care of and didn’t feel anything for him except for pure admiration. She would admit, he had perfect six-packs, stunning skin colour, straight and long legs, but then, she didn’t feel anything just like she had felt for Daniel.

‘I will go ahead then.’ He went ahead without Audrey.

Audrey watched lazily as her friends swan in the pool, screaming with excitement. There were so many good looking people here, yet she was fantasized about Daniel grabbing her waist to keep her from falling. She wished she was swimming with him right now, imagining him, kissing her while swimming with her. She had seen many handsome rich guys who were ready to do anything for her, but then, she hadn’t found any excitement having them around. It was like they were all too boring. But this Daniel, whom she just met, took her breath away. She was instantly attracted to him, he was different, and she could feel it in her heart. Though he looked poor in his cheap clothes, she still saw him as the most handsome rich guy in the world. Smiling, she felt like Daniel had this kind of peach blossom eyes which seemed to have the ability to blow a petal away, just like Asian movie stars with their breathtaking features.   She wanted to have a taste of his juicy lips or perhaps look into his eyes as if it was the only thing worth looking at.
