The moment I met you (Chapter 178)

Jessica stared at the envelope in her hand with anger. She thought if she pays Chioma she would be forced to leave Michael alone, and would be scare to get anywhere near Michael.                                                     

However, did Chioma’s unwillingness to accept the money mean that she wasn’t planning on letting go of Michael? And again, Chioma was sharp tongued. She had thought that Chioma would just do as she had asked considering the fact that she came from rich and powerful family. But it seems, Chioma wasn’t afraid of her social status either.                                                                                                                                       

At that thought, Jessica’s eyes went icy cold as she glared at Chioma. Her glare was so cold it could freeze the air particles around them!                                                                                                                              

‘I thought you were a smart girl that knows her place, but it turns out that you are an idiotic imbecile who is only after Michael’s money. You’re not even beautiful and not even a second generation heiress, so I’m not sure where you got the confidence to keep chasing after my boyfriend. If you think that the Njemanze family will welcome you into their palace, then you are mistaken. I am the only one that is qualified to be with Michael… smart girls will know when to retreat, I believe you should at least learn that for your own good.’                                           

Chioma’s lips pulled into a smile. ‘Miss Jessica, I don’t wish to leave at the Njemanze palace, although, a day will come when I will be accepted… but I wish to leave in Michael’s heart. That is where I want to build my palace with him…it will be romantic, don’t you think so?’           

                    

‘You’re a moronic imbecile.’                                                                   

‘Back to sender…’                                                                                 

‘Better watch your back from now on.’Jessica’s voice sounded cold and she meant the warning she had given out.                               

‘Miss Jessica… ‘                                                                                                   

‘I don’t care what you have to say but I am seriously warning you to keep off from my man. He’s my hubby… I want to remind you not to leave your hopes up. As an ordinary woman like you, I know you know your chance of being with him is slim.  So I warn you to thread carefully.’ With that, Jessica put on her sunglasses, turned on her heels and left.
