Just as the elevator was about reaching his floor, his phone rang. Seeing it was from Jessica, he didn’t bother to pick it. Then, finally, the elevator reached the top floor and he stepped out and headed for his room. He stopped in front of room 1009, then, he reached for his card to open the door. Entering inside the room, he lightened up the room after closing the door, then, he took off his jacket and walked towards the bedroom, pulled out his phone an rang Robert to hurry up.
On the other hand, Jessica caught up with Robert at the entrance of the hotel. Seeing Jessica, Robert couldn’t help but smile. He had severally seen the scene of girls who are in love, chasing after their boyfriends who had travelled just to win him over. Most of these girls had succeeded in movies, but Jessica will be among those girls who will never succeed, Robert thought as he glanced at Jessica. Honestly, he wanted Jessica for Michael but it was impossible to control one’s heart when it comes to love.
‘Madam Jessica, I never thought you had such a childish side as to chase Sir Michael over here. I’m sure you see so many romance movies.’
Jessica forced a smile. ‘Help me get to Michael.’
‘Madam Jessica, I will help you from tomorrow. Sir Michael won’t feel happy to see you… He will be meeting with the Lagos state governor by 3pm and by 5pm; he will hold a meeting at the branch office building. So, you see how occupied he is today.’
‘Why can’t I be part of his schedules?’ Jessica yelled, feeling angry.
‘Do you trust me?’
