The moment I met you (Chapter 217)

‘Madam Audrey, it’s time,’she informed.                                               

‘Where is Daniel?’Audrey asked anxiously.                                                      

‘I’m here, Madam,’Daniel answered and walked in.                         

Looking up, Audrey’s eyes met the elegant looking Daniel in his high end dark- blue Versace suit with a light-blue bow tie of the same brand. Audrey had never seen him in suit before, so today that he donned an elegant suit; she couldn’t help looking at him. It was as though time had stopped for both of them as their eyes were locked, longing for each other’s heart and soul. What made Audrey even happier was that she had carefully selected and bought this high-end suit for Daniel. The suit fitted him perfectly well that he could qualify for male lead roles in romance movies.                                                                        

‘What’s happening here? Did time suddenly stopped?’ Celine looked a bit confused. Or perhaps, she was pretending to be confused.  She snapped her finger in front of their face to wake them up from their gazes. ‘You still have the luxury of time to look at each other but for now, the guests are really waiting. And you can’t keep them waiting just to stare into each other’s eyes like an idiot.’                                

‘Shut up!’Audrey frowned at Celine.                                                                         

Celine gestured a mouth-zipping sign.   Then, she turned towards the door.                                                                                                                 

The ceremony would begin once Audrey walked down the stairs with Daniel. Audrey turned to the guard at the entance of her door and gave a nod, and immediately he informed the guests Audrey was about to walk down the stairs for the ceremony to begin, and then motioned for her to walk out of the room to meet the guests who were eager to see her.                                      

                   

The birthday planner gave Audrey a sweet reassuring smile before she hooked arms with Daniel; they both left the room descending the stairs in a graceful manner. Immediately, all the heads turned to look at this perfect princess with her handsome escort. It was obvious that they looked good together. With glowing smile on their face, Daniel and Audrey walked with their head high, even though at this moment, Audrey was imagining the scene to be a wedding and not just her birthday. But, she was still glad to be walking down the stairs with Daniel.
