Just as Chisom entered inside the restroom her
phone began to ring. Ignoring the ringing phone, she sat on the toilet. She
felt a bit embrassed when she glanced at her phone screen. It was Andrew that
was calling. Why should he call now she
was in the restroom? Was he going to wrinkle his nose if she told him that she
was sitting on the toilet? After all, she was his girlfriend, and had even
kissed him before. So, with that crazy thought, though still embarassed, she
picked up the call.
‘Andrew?’She chuckled awkwardly.
‘Chisom, why are you still at the party up to this time? Are you flirting with other men?’ On the other side, Andrew asked with a straight face. ‘But, from the echoe, I think you’re sitting on the toilet.’
Chisom almost choked on her own saliva. ‘A…Andrew, why should you say that…?’
‘I’m sorry, but what are you doing?’Andrew asked.
‘I…I…’Chisom’s face flushed.
‘You can’t say you are in the toilet, can you?’
‘Lower your voice,’Chisom whispered, embrassed.
‘Oh, are you afraid someone might hear you?’ Andrew laughed. ‘In order not to let anyone hear you, you might activate the anti-bugging device on you,’he joked, and Chisom chuckled. ‘You didn’t want anyone to hear my talk with you…what a good girlfriend you are.’
‘Andrew…’
‘Go home already. It’s late. I just finished speaking with your brother. I guess he must be looking all over for you. I will call back to tell him you’re in the toilet.’
‘No, don’t. I’ll go to him now,’she lowered her voice as she said, embarrassed.
Andrew paused for a while before saying, ‘Hurry out else you might fall into the toilet bowl or at worst pee in your pant.’
With that, Chisom pulled her pants up hurriedly and flushed the toilet. She had forgotten to hang up before flushing the toilet. Andrew couldn’t help laughing from the other side of the phone when he heard the sound of the flushing toilet.
