The moment I met you (Chapter 234)

 By Nightengale Ben-Onyeukwu

‘Bring it on,’Chioma laughed, eating her food in large bites. The sumptuous foods taste delicious that Chioma shouldn’t be blamed for becoming today’s Charles Dickens’s Oliver Twist.

Chisom’s lips curled up. Staring into Chioma’s eyes, she said challengingly, ‘I will definitely bring a lot of foods for you, but you have to let Felix bring you home.’

Chioma glanced up at Chisom. ‘Felix isn’t included in our game.’

Chisom waved her hand. ‘I know you would object, so I won’t feed you into a plump little girl,’she chuckled.

Chisom had drunk too much wine and wanted to go to the restroom.

‘I want to use the restroom,’Chisom said, putting down her almost empty glass of wine.

‘There are restrooms over there.’Chioma pointed. ‘I’ll go with you.’Chioma offered, rising up from her food.

Chisom shook her head. ‘No, finish your food. Once I come back we’re leaving already. It’s almost 10 o’clock.’

‘Okay, Miss Bestie. Off you go,’Chioma laughed, waving at Chisom to leave for the restroom.

Watching as Chisom headed out, Julia frowned. ‘I wonder what Chisom is up to.’

‘Oh, I guess she’s going to do some stealing. After all, poor folks are known to be stealing things,’Emmanuella laughed.

‘Right. I heard that Michael went to Lagos with Jessica. Is it true?’ Dara suddenly asked Julia.

‘I heard that too. I wish Michael and Jessica get back together…’Julia said, doubting the possibility.

‘But that witch over there wouldn’t let it…’Emmanuella chuckled, and the girls turned to Chioma who was enjoying her food peacefully. ‘Maybe, we should scare her a little.’
