The Moment I Met You (Chapter 309)

When the plane touched down in Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport the following day, it was already 2pm in the afternoon. The weather was bright and beautiful. Thankfully, the harmattan hadn’t set in, because, even if the sun was bright, the cold from the harmattan could have sent one shivering. Michael was just in a casual blue suit, looking very handsome as though he came out from a painting.

                 

Before Michael and Robert could have spotted the company driver that had come to pick them up, they were greeted with the fans that had crowded them with placards that read; Jessica is the only woman qualified to be with Michael Njemanze; Chioma Chima is a whore; she is a good user…                                                                                             

Michael was in disbelief as he saw what was happening. He wondered who could have planned all of this. Even Robert was shocked. How come everyone knew about Michael’s relationship with Chioma? Why was she called a whore?       

Not only that, at that moment, Michael also received a phone call from Audrey, confirming that Chioma was her brother’s beau. But didn’t know why she had to be in love with two men. Audrey couldn’t believe the shocking news but somehow she still trusted Chioma.                                                                     

It was obvious that Chioma had gotten herself into a heap of trouble while rumours were spreading all over the internet like wildfire. Paparazzi were all over gathering scoop for their newspapers.                               

‘Sir Michael, you have to dumb that cheap girl. She only wants to be recognised. She knew the difference between you and her. She is such a whore to cheat you with your favourite cousin,’a fan of Jessica angrily said.                                                                                                    

Robert turned to Michael. ‘I know that I want Jessica for you, but I still know that though I hate Chioma for you, she isn’t like that. She isn’t a whore. This must be a misunderstanding.’ Deep down Robert still trusted Chioma.                                                                                          

‘So what you’re saying is that you trust that whore more? Don’t be stupid Robert!’A fan that had heard what Robert said, coldly glanced at him. ‘Do you think we would waste our time for nothing? You can ask her about her relationship with Felix. Ask her about the love scene she created with Felix when she was attacked by mobsters. Felix took her to the best hospital, treated her like a queen. But all he got was heart break. I sincerely hate scheming bitches! Jessica will never do this to you. So, Sir Michael, don’t hesitate to rekindle your relationship with Jessica.’
