The moment I met you (Chapter 73)

By Nightengale Ben-Onyeukwu

Hearing Chioma’s words, the girls looked up and glared at her.

‘You should be careful with your words,’ one of them said, annoyed.

‘I’m sorry but if you beautiful ladies want to have crushes, you should go to Korean lead male characters. They are handsome and intelligent.’

‘Girl, you’re weird.’ Julia looked at Chioma in disbelief. ‘Everyone knows that Michael is good-looking. Even the word good-looking isn't enough to describe him. He was the school hunk during his secondary school days at Diamond Snow, the best secondary school in Nigeria. And he was called young master because he was someone with the most perfect figure and the richest...  Don’t be such a hypocrite not to admit the truth.’

Chioma knew that there was no man who was more handsome than Michael. She didn’t want to tell the girls that she had a crush on him. She was afraid that they will lash at her with their vicious tongue. But she knew the truth and would bury the sweetness of him being the most handsome man in her heart.

‘Even his mere raising of hand exudes a noble aura. He is the most handsome in the world,’ Julia huffed. ‘We’re going somewhere else to eat. Your face is bad luck.’

The girls stood up quickly, glared at Chioma, and left the table to another restaurant.

Chisom patted Chioma on the shoulder and said, ‘I know you love him and afraid to admit it. But you have to be careful with what you say to Michael’s crazy fans,’ she sighed slightly. ‘You might be that mysterious girl, and those hostile fans of his might get back to you.’

Chioma glanced at Chisom and said gently, ‘Thank you bestie.’

 Chisom nodded.
