Daniel lowered his head to drink his coke, and then whispered to himself, ‘It’s only good if you become my woman.’
Daniel’s voice was not loud but Chioma heard it clearly, but then, she knew she must pretend that she didn’t hear him.
Ever since Chioma became a waitress at Star restaurant, her unique presence had always brought customers. Some curious customer who didn’t know Chioma had asked Chisom who Chioma was, and there was basically only one answer…she is not your type… your food is your type!
‘You didn’t bring your girlfriend? Chioma asked with a smile.
Before Daniel could reply, a girl’s surprise shriek came from the customers, grabbing everyone’s attention.
To Chioma’s surprise, she saw a man gorgeously dressed and standing beside the man was… him? The man who she had loved the moment she met him, the man who was arrogant and was the most important person in her life. It was like a dream for him to appear in this restaurant again. He was here yesterday and here today? Yesterday he had appeared like magic but today he came letting everyone see him. What was his purpose? Everyone looked at him with respect. Was he here for her? Or perhaps, he had come to see someone else? She shook off the idea.
