The moment I met you (Chapter 126)

By Nightengale Ben-Onyeukwu

‘Just see it that you’re stepping out of a long, dark tunnel and into a brilliant sunshine, and not bumpy roads. He loves you…today’s the beginning of something wonderful for both of you. So don’t let anything stand in the way.’

‘Thank you.’

‘Then let’s go.’ Chisom whispered, taking her both hands, she led her away to meet Michael.

As soon as Michael saw Chioma he said, ‘Chioma Chima, come and sit beside me.’ His eyes were full of love and tenderness.

Could this man be from the wealthiest and most influential family in the capital… the Njemanze family? Robert felt like doubting his thought.  But then, he knew that Michael was a business man. As a business man with keen business acumen, he knew that Michael would lose his chance with her if he does nothing about this. He wanted Chioma badly. Was Chioma qualified to be his woman? She was of a lowly birth.

Chioma had no choice than to walk over despite her unwillingness to do so. As she walked towards him, her heart trembled harder. She was approaching the man at the pinnacle of power, the man with a kingly aura. She was too nervous that as soon as she sat down, she knocked over the juice glass Emeka had offered Michael, shattering it on the floor.

When did my life become a movie? Chioma couldn’t believe that what she had watched severally in romance drama series was happening to her right now.
