The moment I met you (Chapter 180)

 By Nightengale Ben-Onyeukwu

‘Hello, Sir Michael?’ Robert was certain the meeting wasn’t yet over. So, why was he calling? ‘I have the document… will bring it in a moment.’

‘Robert, deliver afternoon tea to Chioma.’At the other end of the phone, Michael’s voice sounded happily, ignoring what Robert said about bringing the document over to the meeting room. He seemed not to care about the report.

‘Okay, Sir.’Robert’s voice sounded calm even though he was a little bit angry with delivering afternoon tea to Chioma. Before he could tell Michael that Chioma called, Michael hung up the phone.

As Robert was about making his way to the elevator, he suddenly had a familiar voice sounded from behind him. ‘Robert.’

Without turning around, Robert knew that this person was Audrey. He was already used to her beautiful voice.

‘Madam Audrey…’Robert turned around to look at her with a smile.

She was dressed in a printed black and white dress, black blazer, Armani heels, with her wavy hair cascading down her exquisite back. She held onto a white Dior clutch with one hand and the other hand, she held her smartphone. A noble and elegant smell diffused from her graceful body. She was absolutely qualified to be a Duchess of Cambridge or Sussex or even a real-life princess.

‘Why do I feel you ain’t happy? Audrey smirked. ‘Did your boss ask you to do delivery in the slums?’ she seemed to have heard Robert’s conversation with Michael. Perhaps, she didn’t hear everything.
