Chioma stood there for a moment as if deciding whether to eat the afternoon tea or not before she pushed the door open and went inside.
‘Huh? Why is there an afternoon tea in your hand? Did you order for it and perhaps wants to surprise me with it?’Chisom giggled. She took the bag from Chioma, and gently brought out the yummy-yummys in it. Chioma sat down across from Chisom, and after a few seconds of silence, she slowly said, ‘Michael gave them to me.’
‘Huh? Michael went here?’
Chioma shook her head. ‘His assistant did.’
‘These look super expensive.’Chisom pouted prettitly. ‘He even bought your favourite. Let’s dig in.’
Chioma sighed, then, joined Chisom who had already dug in.
Arriving at Maitama Sule Street, Audrey made her way to the popular hot suya spot at the street. Many rich people came here to buy suya. Parking her Silvery-grey Porsche by the side of the road, she stepped out of the car and made her way inside.
Glancing around for Kimberly, Audrey felt a little bit sad that Kimberly hadn’t arrived yet. She still had to go to the mall to buy a few stuffs she would need for her birthday coming soon. As she was still glancing around, a girl carrying a beige-coloured rucksack as well as eating beef suya bumped her mobile phone from her hand and quickly apologised. It was the latest edition of 2019 Iphone.
Calmly the girl bent down to pick the mobile phone. But a pair of large hands was swift to pick up the phone for Audrey, handing it to her.
‘Thank you so much,’Audrey said.
‘Always, Madam Audrey.’
