The moment I met you (Chapter 185)

Hearing the man’s voice Audrey’s whole body froze. It was him, Daniel Onuoha. She didn’t even believe that she would recognise the voice of the man she barely knew. They girl with the rucksack went ahead, leaving the two alone.                                                                                                

She looked up slowly to confirm if it was Daniel. She smiled sweetly when she saw him standing right in front of her.                                              

‘How have you been?’Daniel asked after a while.                                 

‘I’m good.’Audrey felt as If she was dreaming. She was glad to see Daniel again. Perhaps, meeting him again was fate’s way of bringing them together.                                                                                                  

Daniel stared at Audrey, pleased with the charming smile on her face. She was super beautiful, looking young and fresh.

                   

Wearing a white long sleeve shirt, he had a fitting pair of blue jeans, neatly cut hair and cheap wrist watch.                                                              

‘Just finished delivering spare parts to a client,’Daniel told her. ‘I’m craving for suya. Maybe we could grab a bite together?’                               

Hearing the word together, Audrey’s heart melted. Not bothering to look for Kimberly, Audrey decided to grab a bite with Daniel. They both walked inside the restaurant. This was where Audrey had agreed to meet Kimberly, but it seems destiny created this beautiful opportunity for her to meet Daniel again.                                                         

The fragrance of suya could be smelt as they entered the restaurant. Just as they were about settling down to an empty chair, Audrey spotted Kimberly waving at her. She was having suya with her boyfriend.       

Smiling, Audrey walked over to take the hand-out from Kimberly.

                   

‘You came with your beau?’ Kimberly asked with a giggle, wearing a green dress with a pair of black heels.   

                

‘Yup,’answered Audrey. She took the hand-out and walked away to avoid more questions. Daniel wasn’t her beau, but she was surprised to admit what she wasn’t sure of in front of Kimberly. What if Daniel decided to just remain friends with her? She couldn’t help but let thoughts race into her head as she walked back to sit with Daniel.
