The moment I met you (Chapter 209)

    By Nightengale Ben-Onyeukwu

‘Don’t you like that I went here to see you?’Michael raised an eyebrow.

‘I am the happiest.’Chioma put on the freshiest morning smile. ‘Thank you for coming.’

‘I had wanted to bring you to my cousin’s birthday after which I will bring you to my home. But this emergency took over…I will do that once I return.’ He stared into her eyes, and then leaned down to kiss her lips. ‘I have to go now,’he whispered, nuzzling at her neck then her shoulder. He seemed not to let go but then, he didn’t want to make her feel that he was trying to take advantage of her.

Chioma couldn’t help but smile at how soft his mouth was, and how his cute tongue was so soft. She had enjoyed how his tongue interwined with hers even though it had been a short kiss. As Chioma was about to pull away from him, she accidentally exchanged glances with Jessica and subconsciously stopped pulling away for a moment. Jessica appeared glamourous in her black pleated dress, white blazer, large gold earrings and black sling back heels. She was beautiful and pleasing to the eyes.

Jessica was madly jealous that she could kill right now but she tried her best not to walk up to Chioma and slap her till she fainted and perhaps, breathed no more. She knew that Michael had kissed no one before! But here he was kissing Chioma! She had madly desired to have Michael’s kiss at least she could hold onto that. However, it was a lowly woman that had touched the pearly lips of Michael before her eyes. Jessica was greatly displeased and she felt even more hatred for Chioma for seducing Michael. She wondered what Michael saw in a plain-looking girl like Chioma. Wrinkling her nose, she felt that Chioma’s mouth smelled of ogiri and doesn’t deserve to kiss the scented mouth of Michael.

Chioma saw the fierce look in Jessica’s eyes and knew that she wouldn’t just let this pass.
