The moment I met you (Chapter 210)

 By Nightengale Ben-Onyeukwu

‘You look dazed. What’s wrong with you?’Michael noticed that Chioma appeared odd and waved his elegant hands before her. ‘Are you all right? You’re suddenly acting weird.’

Chioma retracted her gaze or rather coming to her senses; she forced herself to smile sweetly at him. Michael smiled but didn’t say a word. He seemed to know why she suddenly went dazed. It was Jessica. She was just at the corner, watching them.

‘You should go already before customers start arriving,’Chioma smiled at him.

‘Then I shall go to the office.’ Michael turned around and walked towards his blackTesla.

At this moment, Jessica wiped off the tears in her eyes and approached Michael with forced smile. Acting as if she was Michael’s fiancée, she hugged his arm and said in a soft, seducing voice, ‘Michael, sweetie, I didn’t expect to see you here. What a coincidence!’

Michael frowned, and swiftly pulled away his arm from her. Then, he got into his car and scooted away.

Jessica glowered at Chioma who was about to work inside and pointed. ‘It’s all because of you!’

Chioma could see how murderous Jessica’s gaze was as though she could kill her at any moment. Chioma didn’t seem to be in the mood to argue with Jessica this morning, so she went inside the restaurant, ignoring Jessica as though she never existed.

Ignored, Jessica’s expression became fierce even more. She was burning with rage that even an egg could be fried as a result of the rage emitting from her.

Jessica tried to hold back her tears as she drove to meet Patricia, but could feel them slowly trickling down her face. Not once had she believed that Michael would find any girl to be his woman, and not once had she thought that he would stoop so low to be with a trash like Chioma. She hadn’t thought of the possibility, but she could see them happening right before her eyes. She was really boilng with rage as the disappointing thoughts kept creeping in.
