‘What about Felix? I saw him dancing with Chioma.’
Jessica’s damp cotton fell off, revealing a pair of suprising clear eyes.
Seeing this, Sharon immediately explained, ‘It was nothing. There is nothing wrong with dancing with anyone.’ She regretted telling Jessica about Chioma’s dance with Felix.
‘Felix isn’t the kind of man to dance with anyone. For him to dance with that witch, he must have been caught
in her web. That girl is a witch. I will call Michael and warn him about Chioma.’Jessica
smiled and went back to removing her makeup with another cotton pad. ‘I am sure
Michael will leave Chioma at once and run back to me.’
Sharon
gave her a cold look. ‘In your dreams…’then, she walked out of the bathroom,
leaving Jessica alone in the luxury bathroom.
After
Jessica finished removing her makeup, she went into the bedroom. Sharon sat on
a couch reading a book while eating a packet of fruit snack. Lifting her head
from the book, she glanced at Jessica and said, ‘You’re a good makeup remover.
Maybe you should apply to be a makeup artist.’
Jessica
pouted, reaching for her phone. ‘Such job is tiring.’ Sitting down on the bed,
she dialed Michael’s number. ‘I am trying my luck, even though I know Michael
might not pick.’
‘Why are you calling him?’
Jessica
shrugged. ‘I am going to inform him about his beautiful girlfriend who is now
flirting with other men,’she replied mockingly.
‘Jess,
please don’t do that.’
‘If Michael doesn’t
pick up, then it becomes her luck. But if he does pick up, then, I am
sorry.’Jessica gave a wicked grin. ‘But I am sure Michael will pick up because
I am using a different number to call him.’
