The moment I met you (Chapter 260)

 By Nightengale Ben-Onyeukwu

Jessica bit her bottom lip, and then took a deep breath. ‘Forget about it…I’m sorry.’

‘Don’t let me find you!’Michael threatened. With that, he hung up.

Sharon, who was listening, sighed, giving off a sense of disappointment. ‘It’s okay; maybe for the rest of your life, you should be behind close doors for not being able to talk to Michael whom you claim to love.’

Jessica smiled as she put down the phone and turned to Sharon. ‘I have a better way to deal with Chioma.

Sharon raised an eyebrow as she drank the glass of warm milk on the table. ‘I hope you wouldn’t shed a blood…’

‘I will paralyse her. But she would do it herself.’

Michael was no longer in the mood to continue with the meeting, so he said into the video conference on the computer, ‘Let’s end the meeting for today. If it’s possible, I’ll make some time for us to speak more in the midnight.’

One of the young American men, dressed in a dark grey suit, wore a shocked expression. ‘You mean you will make us have another meeting...in the midnight?’

‘What’s wrong with over- labouring you?’ Michael asked with furrowed brows. ‘But don’t worry too much; if we are to have the meeting, then, you will be paid for it.’

Then Michael dismissed the video conference, and he closed the laptop, and turned out o walk out from the study, heading for the living room. At that moment, his phone began to ring. It was from Chioma.  A charming smile appeared on Michael’s face as he pressed the answer button.

‘When you arrive, could you please announce our relationship to the world?’

‘I thought you could have asked me to kiss you when I arrive.’ Michael teased her.
