The Moment I Met You (Chapter 327)

Immediately her eyes were filled with tears. She tried to reason with herself, but then, she was infuriated even more. She thought that Daniel had replaced her, maybe because she had refused picking his call. She had come to settle the lovers quarrel with him only to see him hugging a woman.                                                                                      

Instead of walking over to confront them, she pulled her car’s door and sat inside. ‘Daniel, how could you do this to me?’ She sat in the driver’s seat in a daze for a while, without even looking at the direction of Daniel. Then, she started her car and drove out as tears streamed down her eyes.                                        

         

Just then, Daniel looked up. He managed to catch a glimpse of her car. ‘Isn’t that Audrey?’Daniel whispered and Chisom lifted her head. She was consoling her brother who had been in a bad mood because he felt that he had lost Audrey.                                                                     

Chisom sighed, looking over the direction of Audrey’s car. ‘What if she misunderstood the embrace?’Chisom glanced at Daniel and asked.                                                                                                                                       

‘I hope she didn’t drive away because she thought that I have replaced her.’                                                                                                                  

‘Hurry up, call her,’Chisom urged Daniel.                                                       

Daniel immediately reached for his phone and dialed Audrey’s number. The phone rang and rang but she didn’t pick up.                             

‘She has obviously misunderstood everything…she thought you have replaced her.’                                                                                          

  ‘I will find her later and explain everything to her.’                                        

 Chisom nodded.

 

 Audrey couldn’t withstand seeing Daniel hugging another woman. The man, whom she had loved with all her heart, was hugging another woman. The tears rolled out nonstop from Audrey’s eyes as she drove. From time to time, she would raise her hand and wipe them away. The memories of she and Daniel together flashed before her eyes. She couldn’t hold the emotion anymore. She stopped the car by the side of the road and rested her head on the steering wheel, as tears streamed down her face.                                                                                                    

When she was done with crying, she wiped her face, and headed to Diamond Snow to pick Celine from school.                                      

Reaching the school, she saw Celine walking hand in hand with Prince towards the school gates. Celine spotted Audrey’s car and went to her while Prince went to his red Ferrari car. He drove himself to school, and would drive himself back home anytime his chauffeur wasn’t with him. But most times he drove himself to school.

Celine could feel Audrey was sad. ‘What’s wrong?’Celine asked as Audrey drove the car out of the school environment.                  

  ‘It’s nothing,’Audrey answered, not wanting to tell Celine the reason for her sadness.                                                                                                   

   ‘How can nothing make you sad? Don’t tell me your cheap boyfriend is the cause of your sadness…’
