The Moment I Met You (Chapter 342)

 By Nightengale Ben-Onyeukwu

Meanwhile, Andrew and Chisom had finished for the day. They bought a couple of meat pies and two bottles of Hollandia yoghurt and walked through the streets, stopping at the park to look at the view, eat their picnic and talk.

Andrew was so excited because he had been very busy lately with work, and today, he finished early, and went over to Star Restaurant to pick Chisom for this date. He felt he hadn’t done anything for Chisom, he always feels ashamed thinking this. He spoke of the repairs at his workplace so lovingly, that Chisom would have felt jealousy with the thought he was describing another woman. She knew that he loves his job, and was also aware that he was also looking for a lucrative job.                                                                                                                              Chisom wasn’t that interested in repairs, but seeing that Andrew did his work well and because of his hard work many government officials brought their cars to the workshop, she felt fascinated about the gist.

‘Can you be patient with me a little, when I get a proper job I will gift you with so many fancy things,’ Andrew said suddenly but sincerely. ‘I will bring you to the best candle-lit dinner for our romance date.’

‘Nonsense! Have I ever complained to you before?’She looked at him. ‘I love you for who you are. I know that someday, you will climax to the top.’ She was hopeful.

They found a spot under a tree, and then lay in each other’s arms kissing, but in what seemed like a jiffy, it was time to go home.
