At this time, Sharon and Nathan had already boarded their flight to Lagos. Sharon was bringing Nathan to Lagos so that he would have time and space to unwind with some friends as well as forget about the pain Jessica had inflicted on him.
Sharon logged into her facebook, watching as people lashed insultingly at Jessica. ‘I never thought Jessica would be so cheap to lie about Michael marrying her while we unknowingly idolised her. We must have been blind…I just lost all my respect for her.’
‘Me too… she also broke Nathan’s heart. I hate her!’
‘I wish Nathan finds someone else.’
Chioma is a good girl but I still don’t like her for Michael. Young master Michael deserves someone like Sharon Ojukwu.’
‘I hate Jessica all of a sudden…’
After seeing the discussion, Sharon’s mouth was curving from ear to ear…satisfied with the comments. For hurting Nathan, Sharon felt that Jessica deserves nothing but this ridicule and humiliation.
In an instant, Michael and Chioma’s news became the talk of town. Michael knew that using his PR team would be wasting time and giving Jessica the liberty to do more foolish things. Since he and Chioma were openly an engaged couple, anyone would see it that Jessica was a third party whose motives was to destroy Michael and Chioma’s happiness. It was obvious that everyone would curse Jessica under their breaths.
At this moment, a member of a media boldly stepped out to reveal that the engagement Jessica announced to have happened between her and Michael was completely a lie. Jessica had paid them to write what she wanted them to write or else their family would go in for it. But nothing about Edward and Patricia being the mastermind was mentioned. Even Emmanuel and Rebecca's name were skipped. Who would dare go against these people! No one of course. Jessica was all that could be mentioned.
The netizens were in an uproar. Though, most of them still didn’t like Chioma for Michael but they hate Jessica for lying to them about getting married to Michael, and also about betraying Nathan. So, Jessica was indeed hated by those that had idolised her.
