The Moment I Met You (Chapter 598)

By Nightengale Ben-Onyeukwu

The following day, Michael and Chioma arrived at the airport in a limited edition Maybach. Stepping out of the car, the couple held hands as fans came over to give them flowers, wishing them forever together.  Chioma was wearing a light blue A-line dress, putting on the freshest morning smile. Michael wore a black retro custom-made suit, looking like a medieval king. This was the first time Michael and Chioma had appeared at the airport together. Chioma wasn't afraid of the reporters, for she knew that they were happy to see them together.

Michael looked at Chioma and pulled her in his arm, preventing her from being swept away by the excited crowd. When the reporters were trying to stalk her for photos, she didn't mind. She was with the man of her dreams and never felt any fear. Many requested for an autograph but Michael declined their offer.

An exciting Asian girl, wearing a white bat-sleeved collared shirt, and a beige-coloured uniquely pleated skirt, jumped in front of Chioma and handed her notebook to her. 'If your hubby refuses to give us his autograph, can you please give yours? This is a rare opportunity. I want to keep the memory of meeting two legends in my heart.'  She gave her most winning smile, which looked cute and adorable.

Upon the girl’s graceful feet was a pair of white heels with decorative bow. She looked like a celebrity or rather a model who was going for an Annual Model Award, and was certain to go home with Special Contribution Award. But then, her soft, long dark hair which she wore in a sleek boxer braids, made her look like someone that had just arrived Nigeria for vacation or rather to witness Michael and Chioma’s wedding. Of course, she had visited Nigeria for that purpose.

Chioma looked at the young girl and glanced at Michael. Michael gave her the look that she was free to give the girl an autograph, if she wanted to.

Chioma smiled and grabbed the fountain pen from the girl. After she signed her name she said to Michael, 'Can we go ahead?' She wasn't used to this, and so wanted to leave already.

Michael turned to the crowd and said, 'My wife needs me now.'

His words made the crowd explode in laughter as they made way for them to pass. Chioma smiled, and then put on her sunglasses as she boarded the private jet with Michael, heading for Italy. They were going to the romantic city of Venice for their honeymoon after which they would head for Verona, where the love story of Romeo and Juliet was created by William Shakespeare.

While sitting in the plane, Chioma suddenly held onto Michael's arm. Michael smiled sweetly and placed Chioma's head on his lap and gently stroked her black sleek wavy hair with his warm hands. 'I love you, Oma’ Michael whispered.

He was now calling her Oma? What an adorable way to shorten Chioma’s name. She loved the pleasant way Michael had called her that. It sounded so sexy and mesmerising to the ear.

As Chioma lay on Michael's lap, she felt her mouth curled into the most winning smile she had ever given. Michael leaned down to kiss the top of her head, drinking from the sweet fragrance of her CR7 perfume Audrey had gifted to her. She was finally his, and would always be his. This beautiful thought made Michael beam with delight.

Michael’s heart raced with happiness as he muttered in his heart, Oma, to me, you’re like a poison that I can never get off of my whole life…because it has already corroded away my heart and body. What more could I wish for? Having you is everything…I will always love you. Before, I never believed in love stories. I had only believed in making billions of dollars, but when I found you, I felt that you’re the most important thing in this world that I should chase.Thank GOD I found you…

Only those in love would understand the words Michael had just muttered in his heart.

When a person as adoring as Michael is caring towards you, what else could you wish for? Chioma thought as she let out a sweet smile, drinking from his unique scent. I am now Mrs Njemanze, what an amazing status for me…I never believed in miracles, but I do now...Thank GOD for the gift of Michael Njemanze…

It all started from a moment, and yesterday, that moment was turned into forever.

The Moment I Met You (Chapter 597)

By Nightengale Ben-Onyeukwu

Reaching the luxurious villa, Michael walked inside with his arm around Chioma’s waist. This was their wedding night, and Michael couldn’t stop smiling at the thought. Then, he carried her inside the luxurious room prepared for them. Not only was the villa lit with candles, he also surrounded Chioma with a sea of white flowers.

Michael could sense the nervousness coming from Chioma. He smiled as he removed his suit jacket, then turned to her and said, ‘I’ll have a shower first so you can have some time to relax your mind.’

Chioma nodded shyly as she reached out and embraced him in a tight hug.‘You’re the best,’ she whispered.

‘You’re already mine and will be mine forever.’ Michael’s deep sexy voice was enough to melt anyone. Then, he pressed his lips against hers. He was really enjoying the kiss, and Chioma was really enjoying herself. Lifting his head up, he said to her with a smile, ‘You can rest a bit. I will go ahead to shower.’ He turned to leave.

However, Chioma grabbed onto his arm, reluctant to let him leave. ‘Why are you going alone?’ she stammered. Her face had the blush of a young virgin.

Michael reached out and dotingly pinched her cheek. ‘Really?’

‘Really.’ Chioma nodded bashfully. Since they were now married, it should be natural for them to be intimate with their bodies. What right does she have for Michael to accommodate her silly behavior? It was a good thing for married couples to consummate their marriage on their wedding night, right?

Michael looked at her cute expression and her lips that were red from his kisses. She looked so delicious that he wanted to swallow her up. ‘Are you sure?’

Her face was red as she looked at his handsome face and stammered, ‘V-very sure.’ She was willing to take a bath with this handsome man, who was today her husband. After all, showering together as she had read can make for some incredible bonding. Taking a shower together was probably the most comfortable place to start, Chioma thought as she tried to calm her wildly beating heart. She was so willing to give herself to Michael but was shy as well.

Michael smiled sweetly and he reached for her hand and together they went into the white lavish bathroom. Inside the bathroom, Michael undid her dress with one hand, then with the other hand, he held Chioma by the waist, and took her mouth into his. She helped Michael take off his clothes as well.

That feeling of love and adoration became even stronger as Michael kissed her slowly and lightly as though he was worshiping a godlike creature or thing, wanting to slowly taste her. Today of course, was the beginning of sharing intimate moment with this woman that he loves most in the world. Michael felt like he was the happiest and luckiest man in the world to have Chioma as his wife.

Chioma had never experienced a moment like this before. She wondered if she was dreaming, and if actually she was dreaming, she didn’t want to stop this romantic dream. This was the best dream ever. Everything appeared to be so magical that Chioma was losing control.

Standing under the shower, Chioma couldn’t still believe the fact that she was married to this man that was perfect and breathtaking. She was completely mesmerised as she examined his beautiful looks. Everything about his body was perfect. she loved every inch of him. She noticed his eyes looking at her passionately as though they want to eat her whole and she blushed.

When they couple was done with their shower, Michael wrapped her in a white towel and carried her in his arms to the rose petal covered bed. After she was laid gently on the bed, his tall body leaned down on her and before she could react, his mouth was taken in hers  as the two bodies intertwined together like vines, not leaving even the tiniest gap and the two became one, as it was meant to be.

At that same moment, at Diamond Gardens, Audrey had changed into a beautiful white night gown with its matching robe, both made of silk. Her long hair fell in waves. She couldn’t fall asleep, so to keep herself busy, she picked up The Bench and began reading. When she was done reading the beautiful book, she reached for her flute on the coffee table. Then, she strode towards the window, looking up at the beautiful night sky; she lightly put the flute on her lips and started playing. She loved playing the flute, loved the sound of it. Today, it seemed that she was playing for Michael and Chioma’s happiness. Closing her eyes, she kept on playing until she was tired. She would play the flute often for Daniel when they get married, she promised.

She wondered what Felix was doing right now in his room. Perhaps, he was with his laptop, looking at the stock market as he tried to drive his loneliness away? No, Audrey felt deep in her heart that Catherine would bring smile on his face, though it might not be like Chioma’s. But she was certain of a good future, for both Felix and Catherine.

The Moment I Met You (Chapter 596)

By Nightengale Ben-Onyeukwu

Everyone stood up and cheered, pleased with this union. Then the pastor pronounced Michael and Chioma, husband and wife after reading through the ceremonial speech and taking marriage vows which both of them answered with two simple words of I do.

The music slowly continued, and the sunshine quietly shone through the French windows and onto the couple as Michael's graceful hands lifted Chioma's veil and he took her into his arms. Then he kissed her gently and firmly, and all Chioma's tears melted away. Michael smiled at her, pleased to have made Chioma his wife. Then, the pastor introduced them to the crowd as mister and missus, and they walked down the aisle together as the guests came around to congratulate them.

A warm romantic, candlelit wedding reception was the next, very soon the sun began to set and the guest started arriving in Aso Rock Villa. Each member of the media was given a huge brown envelope; this wasn't for them not to report aggressively but for them to cover the news in such a way that no entertainment news will beat this wedding. The reporters simply took photos when needed and allowed the guests to feel relaxed. Anyway, Michael had allowed the media to attend because they had signed a confidentiality agreement beforehand. None of them would have to go against him else they would be blacklisted.

Of course who would dare go against Michael? Besides, he gave them a huge brown envelope which made them to smile from ear to ear. They wouldn't take the risk of ruining their profession.

As the night arrived, the luxurious hall entirely decked  in roses, twenty seven wedding cakes, Luxurious chandelier, resounded with melodious sound of violins and the beautiful decorated hall filled with top government officials, celebrities and rich business moguls. Michael was dressed in a white handmade suit with a rose pinned to the front of his jacket. His arm was hooked around Chioma who was wearing a Valentino white lacy gown with matching veil for the reception. The couple looked like a match made from heaven, and it looked like Chioma originally came out from Michael's ribs, just like Eve was created from Adam's ribs.

They guest came around greeting them. The moment Michael wanted to kiss Chioma, the master of ceremony said, 'sorry to interrupt your kiss but we know that the groom met the bride at Jimmy Carter Street, could it be that, he knew the bride before then? Is there something you're not telling us?'

The couple stood on the stage as Chioma hid in Michael's arms. He then laughed, 'If I had met my wife before that day, I would have married her before now and we would have made twelve football players.'

The entire guest burst into laughter. Chioma's eyes were smiling and the corners of her lips curled beautifully. She was brimming with happiness.

'Chioma, you will like to give me twelve footballers, right?' Michael teased her.

Chioma turned her head and gave Michael a scolding glance, muttering,'When did I become a baby making machine?' The microphone on her dress made it possible for everyone to hear what she had said. Everyone laughed again.

Michael copied Chioma's tone of voice and calmly said, 'I wouldn't want you to beg me to give you twenty children. If you secretly beg me to give you a child, I will pinch your face before I agree.' He teased her even more.

Chioma was speechless by his word, and when she heard the sound of the laughter below, her face flushed, her cheeks puffed up, and she secretly cursed him, he was so annoying as well as adorable. Michael couldn't help but laugh at her expression.

Below the stage, Audrey shot Daniel a glance and laughed. Daniel laughed as well, understanding each other even without saying a word. Their wedding was to take place soon, and the both already knew what each other would say at a moment like this.

'In this lifetime, I will only love you,' Michael whispered to her ears alone. 'If we had gone to the same secondary school, I would have loved it. I wish my youth began with you...' His tone of voice was filled with passion.

The two of them looked at each other and smiled. The song in the background played on. It was the melodious song of Shania Twain’s From This Moment On.

'I wish my youth had you, and yours had me...we would have shared wonderful memories together.' Chioma blinked her eyelashes and said in a low voice.

After a pause, the two of them opened their mouths, and said together, 'I will always love you.'

They hadn't rehearsed this, and yet they had said it together as though they had planned it. They were truly meant for each other.

Michael gave Chioma a gentle smile, and then he lowered his head and deeply kissed her lips. Under everyone's watchful eyes, he gave her a deep kiss. Chioma raised her arms, hugged his neck, and shyly kissed him back.

Everyone was aware of Michael's stern personality. But the fact that he talked to her with love in his eyes, was enough proof that Chioma was extremely precious to him.

The guest watched silently at the couple who stood at the centre stage kissed as though there was no one there. The glistening crystal lights turned endlessly, and the special effects of falling petals floated without stopping. The romantic song continued playing at the background as Michael and Chioma kissed deeper.

When Michael finally released her, he rubbed the tip of his nose against Chioma's and mumbled with a sexy and husky voice beside Chioma's lips. 'We will have twelve footballers or rather twelve tribe of Israel to make.'

Chioma grabbed onto Michael's face and smile. ‘I am your woman, so you decide how everything works.'

The whole audience remained in complete silence. Then, Michael hugged her tightly.

Audrey and her group couldn't stop smiling. All her female friends, including Celine and Catherine wore three piece dresses, which included a cream coloured cashmere sweater, white shorts and tulle skirt overlay.

Chioma looked up at Michael and said after a moment. 'Do you know what I want to say the most to the guests?'

Michael looked at her with love in his eyes, 'Even I want to hear it,' Michael said in his memerising voice.

'Michael belongs to me. I adore him and love him. I want to take care of him and understand him for the rest of my life. Don't any of you dare to even dream of being with him.'

Before Michael could reply, there came a wave of applause from the guests. Michael hugged Chioma tightly in his arms, not wanting to let go as he drank from her unique fragrance.

As Catherine wanted to leave the hall to receive a phone call from her cousin, she spotted Audrey and Daniel walking hand-in-hand while mingling with friends. She couldn't help but tease, 'you can't even separate for a second? I wonder what you would have done if today were your wedding.'

Audrey didn't get flustered, she even held onto Daniel's hand tighter, 'Stop teasing us, Catherine. I know that you love my brother, go to him.' Audrey gestured. 'He's waiting.'

Catherine turned around to look at Felix who was with Andrew and Chisom. He seemed to be discussing something important with them as they took sips of their glass of wine. 'Get some rest,' she turned back to Audrey and said teasingly.

'In that case, Daniel will bring me home later,' Audrey laughed.

'Uh huh,' Catherine nodded gently, smiling.

Just then, Felix walked up to the stage, and said in his magnetic voice, ‘I did order for Meghan Markles’s The Bench for everyone here as a take-home gift aside from the gifts you have received already.’

Everyone applauded him.

Michael was surprised for a moment, he was speechless. It turned out that Felix had secretly ordered for millions of the book in honour of his wedding. He couldn’t thank Felix enough for doing this. It was obvious that he was grateful for what Felix had done.

‘Thank you, but I am not done yet,’ Felix said to the guests who were applauding him.

Audrey was proud of her brother. The corners of her lips curled into a beautiful smile, causing her to look like a delicate rose. She turned her head a little and looked at Daniel with her most winning smile. ‘When we get married, I’m going to always write you poem.’

‘Why?’Daniel’s brows cocked, pleased by what Audrey had said.

Audrey hugged his arm. ‘Because I know that you’re going to be a good father…you’ll be my inspiration.’

‘But you could do that before we get married. I can’t wait to read poems written by you.’

‘Okay, I’ll do that.’

Daniel gave a smile as he touched the back of her neck. His handsome eyes seemed as though it was praising her for thinking of him as her inspiration to write poem.

On the other hand, Celine lifted her wine to her thin lips and gave it a gentle sip, ‘I didn’t know that my brother ordered The Bench from Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.’ She looked up at Prince and said.

‘A few days ago, my father mentioned something like that arriving Nigeria but I didn’t pay much interest to it.’

Celine took a deep breath and her eyes sparkled as Prince put one hand on her shoulder.

Felix lifted one of the books and said, ‘This book is about the relationship between Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex and his son Archie Mountbatten-Windsor told by Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex. Meghan received her inspiration to write this book from the relationship that her husband has with their son…She had initially written it for her husband during Father’s Day, but seeing that the book captures the evolving and expanding relationships between fathers and sons, she had to make it available for everyone…’ he paused, ‘Today, I am gifting this beautiful piece to everyone here. Children love to listen to bed time stories. The book is well illustrated. You all will love it. On behalf of my brother and wife, I asked for these books to be distributed to everyone.’

Immediately he waved his hand, a few black suited men came over and began distributing the books as the guests received it with open arms. Who wouldn’t want to read the book written by the Duchess of Sussex? Besides, mothers who are still raising kids and the newly weds would love the book for their children’s bedtime story.   Michael held Chioma’s hand as he walked over to Felix. He smiled at Felix. ‘Thank you,’ he said to Felix.

‘We’re brothers. There’s no need to thank me.’

 Michael nodded with a smile.

The wedding reception continued until 11pm.  Robert announced from the door that the cars were ready. Among chuckles and friendly farewells, the young couples walked towards the white luxurious Rolls-Royce prepared specially for them. Michael carried Chioma into the car, fastened her seat belt and gave her a kiss on the lips before getting inside the driver's seat. He wanted to drive Chioma himself; he didn't want any chauffeur to drive them home. Today was the beginning of the new chapter in their lives, and he wanted to begin it alone with Chioma.

Behind them were different colours of Laraki Epitome, plus other luxurious sports cars. The long stretched entourage got people speechless. This was the first wedding in history to have such a huge entourage escorting the couple in their honeymoon ride. Anyway, for today Michael and Chioma were going to spend the night in Njemanze Villa, and tomorrow, they will take a private jet to Italy for their honeymoon.

With the couple out of sight, Catherine turned to Felix who stood at the entrance. Then, she walked towards him, and requested that he take her home. Felix glanced slightly at her, then nodded. It seems he wanted to give another try to another relationship but that doesn't mean he would love Catherine more than he had loved Chioma.

Catherine's face lit up with a beaming smile. She wasn't asking for too much, but just to be with him. Audrey and Daniel would begin from tomorrow to plan their wedding. Andrew and Chisom would follow, Nathan and Jessica. Prince and Celine would settle down after the graduate from Harvard. Catherine was hopeful about Felix. Sharon and Johnson would have a beachside wedding. Sharon like the thought of a beautiful archway decorated with fresh flowers, and the winding path that led to the archway covered in pretty pink rose petals.

The Moment I Met You (Chapter 595)

At this same moment at Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, the Obama family landed at the airport in a private plane, looking gorgeous in their outfits. They had come for the wedding, and couldn’t stop smiling at the reception of fans at the airport. Just before the family of four boarded the luxurious car Michael had prepared for them, the American comedian, Ellen DeGeneres arrived, followed by the McClure twins, Ava and Alexis. The twin sisters came with their parents. Michael had specially invited twins to be Chioma’s flower girls.

Michael was the only one capable of bringing these people to his wedding. He was like a king and was adored by many folks.

Inside the large church, a live band of foreign singers were warming the hearts of everyone with heart touching melodious deep blues songs. Who wouldn't wish for a luxurious wedding like this? It was every girl's dream to have a perfect wedding like this but when such money couldn't be afforded; any girl would still happily wish to settle with the man that loved them deeply.

Today was beautiful that even butterflies in the gardens danced around, colourful birds chirped and the sky warmly poured down its brightness on every street and corners of Abuja city.

The music came playing inside the church as guests arrived, making their way to the pew. Celine couldn't stop smiling as she hooked arms with Prince, walking down the gold aisle with him. She felt like this was her moment to show off her man to the world. They were both looking perfect for each other. Just like all the close friends of Michael, Prince was wearing a navy blue Versace suit with a matching tie.

Celine, on the other hand, wore a silk ivory coloured dress created by an Italian designer, Mauro Adami. This delectable gown was adorned with platinum threads and attractive embroidered floral designs. Catherine, Sharon and Jessica wore the same gown as well. Celine could see her mother, Patricia and Isabelle sitting at the left aisle in matching cream coloured Louis Vuitton long gowns adorned with precious stones. She couldn't stop smiling. The three women were chatting happily. The sight was beautiful to Celine. For some reason, at that point, Celine knew everything was going to be all right.

Then, Obinna appeared with his wife, hooking arm as they walked down the aisle, followed by Emmanuel and Rebecca who gracefully strutted down the aisle with their hands held together. Stanley dressed in a gorgeous cream- coloured coloured suit walked elegantly, alone. Sola followed, escorted with her son Gbenga. With the help of Michael, and because of Chioma's pleading, the cases against Emmanuel and his wife were struck out, and the houses allegedly seized from them were returned back to them.

The music never stopped playing, and people never stopped to listen to this heart touching songs as they waited in anticipation for Chioma's grand entry into the church.

After a moment, Jessica walked down the aisle on the arm of Nathan. Sharon followed a moment later, escorted by her man, Johnson Mark.  Barack, who was wearing a blue fitting suit, hooked arms with Michelle who looked beautiful in her glittering Versace gown. Michelle took her look to the next level with a sleek updo and bold earrings. She matched her makeup to her gown.

Malia and her sister Natasha, who was fondly called Sasha, made their way to their seat. They Obama daughters were both wearing ethereal white gown by the British Designer, Alexander McQueen. The girls stood out in a simple makeup. Behind them was Ellen DeGeneres who was donning a cream-coloured dress. She topped off her outfit with dainty earrings and chunky bracelet. She was known to often wear expensive, custom-tailored suits, sweaters, leather jackets, boots, t-shirts, colourful scarves and even sneakers but seeing her in this exquisite gown made everyone look at her in awe. She was beautiful and wore a cheerful smile.

Ami and Justin McClure gracefully walked inside, holding each other’s hands. Ami was wearing a champagne-coloured Gucci one-shouldered gown. To let this beautiful dress shine, Ami kept her accessories minimal. Justin looked handsome in his black custom-made suit.

Chisom and Audrey folllowed behind as the train of their white dresses dragged behind them. They had a delicate make-up, which was of course simple.  The gown worn by these two women was really magnificent.  And also, they carried bouquets of colourful flowers as Chioma’s bridesmaids.

After they were all seated, Michael and Felix gracefully walked in; both men were dressed in a navy blue Versace limited edition suit, matching tie and glowing, freshly polished shoes from the same luxury brand. They gave off the presence of British royalty with respectable aura.

As they walked to stand in front of the aisle, Catherine said jokingly, 'Prince will be more handsome than Michael on his special day.'

Nathan turned around and said, 'Perhaps in Celine's eyes he will be more handsome, but in my eyes he's far from it.'

Everyone around them laughed, from his tone of voice, they could tell he was in a good mood.

'Big brother Nathan when will you and Jessica get married? This church is gorgeous. We really want to come here more often.'

'Yes, that's right...You can start coming to church here. Anyway, I am aware you and Felix will make a good couple.' Nathan turned his head and looked at Jessica. But she only smiled at him without any word. So, Nathan added, ' So, in that case during your wedding with Felix, I wouldn't bring any gifts. I will save up the money and give Jessica the best wedding ever.'

'Please, don't including my gift in your savings.'

They people sitting around them exploded in laughter.

Just then, little Jersey Tayo McClure elegantly walked in, dressed in his fitting white suit. He was so handsome that most of the guest couldn’t help but stare at him as he made his way to his seat by the left. It was as though he was a natural-born superstar who could attract the attention of everyone.

Then, the two flower girls, Alexis and Ava, donned up in tulle walked inside, carrying their basket of flower petals. The two girls happily scattered the flower petals along the aisle as they walked down the aisle. The McClure twins were looking like princesses in their beautiful outfits and winning smile. The identical twins were known to have gained their popularity through viral videos and social media.

Suddenly, everywhere suddenly became quiet again, except for the music playing as the large door was let open, everyone turned their heads towards the entrance and Chioma gracefully walked inside. She was all smiles as she still felt like she was in a dream. She wasn't going to walk in the arms of anyone, but alone. This was her day, so she should be on the spotlight. This time an Asian female singer with a melodious voice had taking over the stage, singing the song of eternal love as Chioma walked down the gold aisle in her magnificent white diamond wedding dress, which worth a few million dollars. The bottom of the dress had been designed to resemble a blossoming flower, with diamonds adorning the dress. To hold the veil, Isabelle had gifted a sparkling tiara to Chioma and it contains about one thousand diamonds. The gown's long sleeves and lace collar looked stunning.

Chioma's wedding train, which stretched to 25 feet long, was embroidered with flowers, and she wore a Sarah Flint ivory satin heels embroidered with delicate flowers. Rumour had it that her shoes were the brand frequently used by British Royal Family. This high-end white satin with plunging neckline, lace sleeves and A-line skirt was really one of a kind. She was gorgeous, like a royal princess. She was wearing both earrings and necklace; both were studded with white diamonds.

It was obvious that Michael had put his time and effort into his bride. The guests could tell how much Michael treasured her.

As she walked on, the memories of her meeting with Michael and the challenges she had rushed into her mind. She remembered that it was the wind that led her to Michael. If she hadn't been disappointed on the day of her interview, she might not have gone to Star Restaurant to meet with her best friend, and she might not have met Michael.

Chioma's grades in secondary school and university were enough for any company to give her a job. But no, she was denied jobs severally. When she got to know Michael, some said he was an arrogant individual while many looked upon him like a god. Some of Jessica's fans had called her so many bad names, she had been tortured, some had said that when she returned the ring to Michael she was playing pull and push with him to spark his interest. Some said that she was only after Michael's money. But no, she had only agreed to Michael because she was deeply in love with him.

The guests wore joyous smiles on their faces. Chioma looked at the majestic Michael who was beaming from ear to ear. He was the happiest man today and Chioma was the happiest woman. As she drew closer to him one step at a time, Michael’s eyes gazed deeply into hers. He couldn't wait to make Chioma his bride and Chioma couldn't wait to make him her husband.

After what seemed like a long walk to the aisle, which wasn't boring anyway, Chioma reached the front of the aisle to stand before the man she was deeply in love with, the man that never regarded her poor estate, the man that was willing to cross the ocean for her sake, the man was going to spend the rest of his life with her. Tears formed in her eyes but she tried not to let it fall. She didn't want to ruin her makeup.

The pastor of the church, a handsome man in his high-end white suit asked the couple to tell the world the vows they had prepared for each other that would stand the test of time. Michael was stunningly handsome.

Michael was the first to speak, and everyone was eager to hear what he had to say. Smiling, he began, 'When I first saw you, I knew I was going to make you my wife for sure. When I met you the following day, I knew that my heart was right. I had to tell Robert to investigate you, and when he brought your profile to me, I followed your Facebook activity, copied the photos that you posted. I didn't comment on any of your posts, but I kept thousands of unsent messages to you on my phone.'

Chioma was stunned to tears by this revelation. He spoke with a voice like the most melodic song in the world.

'When I told you to make me your man, I didn't joke about it because I knew that you're the woman for me. At that moment I was tired of silently following you. I wanted to share your every moment with you, wanted to eat your favourite foods alongside you, wanted to look at your face every night, wanted to say good morning  and good night to you as soon as you wake up...so, I boldly came out to make you my woman. Chioma Chima, I am not just marrying you because I need a wife, I am marrying you because I deeply love you. I want to spend new year's with you, Christmas together, your birthdays, I want every moment of my life to be with you...I love you so much and might not be the perfect man for you, but...as I stand before GOD and before this great people, I want to tell you that I will always stand by you. I will always love you. I will always battle the world for you. I love you so much... I don't know how to explain it to you...but I will always love you...because my life without you becomes incomplete...'Michael took a breath and stared into her veil covered face, notably more focused now,'Chioma Chima, I love only you and forever will make you happy. You're my heart's better half. I am grateful to GOD to have you as my woman. Thank you.' He took the ring out of the white box and reached for Chioma's left hand. He slowly placed the diamond ring on her ring finger.

Large teardrops fell from the corners of Chioma's eyes. She tried hard to raise the corner of her lips as she was the next to speak, but the tears didn't let her.

Michael knew she didn’t know what to say at the moment, so he continued to speak. Chioma was very grateful for this act of his.'Chioma, I know that I have expressed my feelings so many times and have said many deeply emotional things, but at this very moment, I still want to repeat this...Chioma.' Michael paused for a moment. The soft melodious music kept playing quietly, soothing the moment. Then, he looked into Chioma’s eyes with extreme intensity, as though he was making a pledge, 'Chioma I love you and will forever love you.'

Chioma's eyes were covered with tears.

'Every day my love for you continues to deepen...'His voice was magnetic.

Those threatening tears now flowed down her face.

'I know that a lot of people still think of you as a pair of broken shoes and that you're not worthy of me, but I want to say something from the bottom of my heart, you're a true definition of a sincere relationship. No matter how many times you get hurt, you will always stand up for your friends. No matter how many pains you get through, you will still have the strength to get up again...so why can't I love you deeply, each day of our lives? A person like you walk around with a glowing aura...I will love you deeper with each passing minute...'

Hearing this, everyone was moved. A few of the sensitive guests even wiped their teary eyes. Felix who was standing behind Michael was moved by these words, he didn't know if it was because he was close to Michael, but actually felt a little moved.

Then, the pastor gestured for Chioma to begin.  There was a microphone on Chioma's wedding dress, so whether she spoke quietly, the audience will still hear her. Chioma stared into the most beautiful eyes she had ever seen. She knew that there was no one else in this world that was able to make her feel loved and there was no one else in this world to make her feel blessed. Only Michael was able to give her the best of everything. They met and fell in love on the first day of their meeting.

'I fell in love with you at first sight...' Chioma paused for a moment, and then said, 'Which means, I fell for you at Jimmy Carter Street; I found the love of my life on that day when I felt that my world was shattered. I've loved you from that moment. Before, my life was so cold... It was no different from severe winter. But then, the moment I met you, my life slowly began to pick up. It grew warm with each passing day...in that same day, I felt like a Jasmine flowers blooming on the streets, the me in me began to sprout and I felt warm inside...’ She sighed satisfactorily and continued, 'Today, the weather is very good, the blue skies looked like they have just been painted...there isn't any a single cloud in thousands of miles...I could feel the bright rays of sunshine and the soft wind, reminding me of how we met...I love you Michael.... I have never been the perfect woman for you. I might not even be able to reach your level, but I want to assure you this very moment before this great audience, that I will give you all the love that I have....I will love you, in poverty or wealth...From this day onward, I will call you my lord, which means a total submission to you.' She paused. 'My Lord, I'm truly happy, truly, really happy. I'm truly grateful to have fallen in love with you.' After she finished speaking, she took the ring from the box Felix had extended to her and put it on Michael's slender ring finger.

The Moment I Met You (Chapter 594)

Late into the night, at the Diamond Gardens, Felix lay across his sofa as he drank from the wine glass in his hand. On his body was a set of thin pyjamas and the heater in his room wasn't turned on.

Just then, Audrey walked inside with Celine. 'Big brother, shouldn't you be with big brother Michael right now?' Audrey asked.

'Is Michael here?' Felix asked with his eyes half closed as he lifted the wine glass to his lips.

'I am here,' Michael walked inside and said with a smile.

Immediately Felix rose up from the sofa and put away the wine he was drinking. Michael had come to share some time alone with Felix, and now he was here, Felix quickly changed into a casual outfit, grabbed his jacket and the two of them left to a luxurious 5-star hotel.

Sitting on the rooftop of this high-end hotel, there was a dazzling view of the starry night sky and impressive cityscape. Michael was glowing with the smile of a man who was getting married to the woman of his dreams while Felix was like a man who had lost in the game of love. But he was still happy for Michael, and so didn't feel any regret for losing to him.

Having these two men in this hotel, the waiters serving them were anxious because to them, Michael and Felix were like ancient emperors. How could they not feel anxious?

The two men quietly enjoyed their meal as they chatted happily.

At that same moment, Chioma stood by the window looking out to the shimmering star-filled sky and the moonlight looked mystical and beautiful than any fantasy.

'It's getting late, Chioma. Better come to bed now.' Louisa's soft voice startled her. She had been standing behind Chioma quietly watching her as she was unwilling to break into her thoughts. But it was already getting very late and she needed to sleep so as to get a refreshing morning.

Louisa stroked her daughter's hair gently. Your wedding tomorrow just reminded me of my own wedding. My mother didn't want me to leave her, but she had no choice because marriage was something good. I had not lived a life of luxury with Magnus but was still very happy with him. But your life will be both filled with luxury and happiness, Louisa reflected. Michael already was one of the richest men in the world. He has everything life has to offer and most of all, Michael truly loved Chioma. Yes, my lovely little daughter will be well taking care of, she thought, feeling happiness spread on her face.

Chioma turned around and looked at Louisa. 'I love you so much mother, ' she said as she gave her mother a hug. 'I never thought about how much I would miss you until now.' She planted a kiss on Louisa's cheek and whispered, 'I love you, mum.' Then she took Louisa's hand and they walked towards the bed. Tomorrow was the day, and as Chioma lay on the bed, she couldn't help but think about everything that had happened in her life since she met Michael.

It was dawn and a magnificent sunrise lit the sky with pink and orange stripes. Today was the day that most people had been waiting for, waiting to witness this wedding that would stand the test of time, for this wedding that would not only be engraved in the media or books but also in the hearts of men. Everything seems colourful and beautiful.

Patricia and Isabelle had suggested for a beachside wedding since it was going to be a large wedding but Michael objected it and suggested for a church wedding because he wanted this wedding to be recognised by GOD. That was how much he loved Chioma. He wanted everything to be perfect.  It was finally decided that the wedding would be held in Church of the Holyghost Mission, one of the largest churches in Abuja. Then after the wedding, a warm romantic candlelit dinner scheduled for the wedding reception will be held in Aso Rock, the presidential villa.

The wedding was already been broadcasted on every channel, and the city bustling with luxury cars heading for the wedding venue. Gradually everyone kept arriving at the church, dressed in their most gorgeous dresses. This was a grand wedding, so every guest attending came in their best.

Michael had wanted Chioma and her friends to sleep over at Paradise Hotel where they would be dressed up for the wedding, but Chioma declined the offer. She wanted to go to her own wedding from her home and not from the seven-star hotel, and this was because, she wanted to spend her last moment with her friends and family. Michael didn't object with her decision as he hired professional makeup artists to come over to the house this morning and do the best makeup on Chioma and everyone from her family attending the wedding.

Andrew, who was already dressed in a high-end Versace Navy blue suit with a red tie, went outside to receive a call from Felix, and when he was through with the call and about to get inside, he noticed Robert and Peter, both dressed in grey suit with matching tie, walking towards him. Behind them were several men in black suit and tie with dignified faces awaiting to escort them to the wedding.

Robert and Peter were obviously assigned by Michael to bring them to the church. Andrew turned to them with a lovely smile. He knew who they were, so it was only natural to welcome them warmly.

'We are here to bring everyone to church. Boss Michael can't wait any longer to see his queen,' Robert said with a smile.

Pleasantly smiling, Andrew shook hands with Robert, then with Peter. 'It's unexpected that the two assistants of the great Moon Corporation are here to lead us to the wedding venue, I'm already overwhelmed by this.'

'Today's a big day and our reward comes with big packages,' Peter joked.

'Don't worry, your stomach won't be disappointed,' Andrew smiled.

After everyone was ready, both Robert and Peter led them to the black Maybach cars, and Chioma got into a white luxurious stretched Cadillac limousine, it was very grand and decorated for the wedding. The escorts followed behind in a pack of BMW 7 series cars.

The cars got on the road in a grand style. In the stretched limo, Chioma couldn't stop beaming from ear to ear. She was the happiest bride in the world. Michael wasn't just handsome; he was caring and would make a good husband.

'Madam, drink this,' a waiter in formal attire, served Chioma with a glass of watermelon juice that was stored in the car's refrigerator.

'No, thanks.' Chioma declined with a simile. She only want a taste of the man she was going to marry and not a taste of this juice, which might ruin the real taste when it was time for her to taste her husband. Her thought seems weird, but then, she couldn't help but smile.

Half an hour later, the luxurious church came into view and the fleet of vehicles gradually entered the headquarters of Church of the Holyghost Mission, which had an enormous white building with high-end pews. It had a classic modern western building and beautiful gardens and lawns. The pathways were well manicured. Everything about this church was perfect and beautiful to behold.

Then, everyone apart from Chioma stepped out of the car. As the bride, she would be the last to enter the grand hall of the church and once she enters, the large door would be closed and the wedding ceremony would commence. But right at this moment, the wedding planners were busy welcoming everyone into the church and music flowed sweetly, warming everyone's hearts.

There were about a hundred security guards and a former Israeli officer who made sure that the place was well guarded. Michael had spent about five hundred thousand dollars on security because he wouldn't want anything to go wrong on this special day. Also, hundred dollars had been put on flowers. To him, what would a wedding be without tens of thousands of dollars worth of flowers?

The Moment I Met You (Chapter 593)

On the way home after meeting with the client, Felix made a phone call to Peter.

Peter who was busy working was so excited that he almost jumped from the office table when he heard Felix wasn't going to cancel his end of the month bonus. 'Sir...have you asked Catherine about the photo? I'm sure it didn't mean anything... Thanks for not cancelling my end of the month bonus.'

'You deserve a knock on your head...anyway, for mentioning that photo again, you will have to see to the few management- level meeting. I am going home already...'

'What will I say?' Peter wanted to cry but failed to produce any tears. He really shouldn't complain, but he couldn't even tell Felix that he wanted to go home, for he had ordered for a suit to be brought to his home. He was going to wear the suit for the wedding.

'Anyway, go home and prepare for the wedding. You can't be late for Chioma's wedding.'

Peter let out a long sigh, then began to laugh.

Felix muttered something before hanging up the call and focused on his driving home. Tomorrow was Chioma's wedding? Was he prepared for it?

Meanwhile, Michael sat in the luxurious garden of their villa, dressed in a white casual suit as he picked apple from the fruit basket in front of him and began to munch. Then, shortly after, he pulled out his phone and created a personal social media account.

Immediately, thousands of fans began following him. By the time 6pm struck, he already had 6 billion followers. This was indeed a frightening number. The thing that everyone was curious about was why Michael opened a social media account?

But he answered their curiosity by posting up pre-wedding photos of him and Chioma. There was a photo of Michael giving Chioma a piggyback, a photo of the two looking intimately at each other’s eyes, a kissing photo, a photo of Chioma leaning on Michael’s shoulder, a photo of the two of them embracing each other and in that particular photo it seems like blankets of artificial snowflakes fluttered down on them and in the last photo, the both held hands in a luxurious garden; Michael’s head was slightly turned as he looked at Chioma with a gentle and caring gaze. Chioma was wearing a Versace white strapless evening gown and a pair of white Sarah Flint pumps while Michael was wearing Versace all black suit. The slim fit made him stylish and elegant.

Michael did not only post up pre-wedding photos, he also included these charming words; She’s mine forever…

The words were simple but powerful. It was enough to tell everyone how much he loved Chioma and would forever cherish her. It was powerful to stir everyone into wishing to be in the shoes of Chioma Chima.

After Michael finished posting up the photos, there were several thousands of comments popping in. Michael only glanced at a few of the comments.

‘So romantic! I feel like I am the one young master Michael’s talking about.’

‘Chioma’s the luckiest girl in the world!’

‘I now believe in love stories.’

‘I need someone as handsome and capable as Michael.’

‘Chioma dressed up and her aura became extremely strong.’

‘Chioma rarely wore heels. She must be afraid of falling. Anyway, just like flash Michael would swiftly hold you from falling.’

‘I love this OmaMic couple…they’re amazing and breathtaking…’

The news of Michael and Chioma had always dominated the headlines, and no headliner was able to overshadow Michael and Chioma’s news, especially now that they were getting married.

The Moment I Met You (Chapter 592)

By Nightengale Ben-Onyeukwu

At an outdoor cafe not far from Daniel’s shop, both Audrey and Daniel sat down to have cappuccino and croissant. They decided to have a little time for themselves before heading back to prepare for tomorrow’s wedding.

‘Audrey, I am about to get married,’ Daniel suddenly said jokingly. ‘I want you to be my bridesmaid because ever since we became friends, you had always been the lead character, while I was the third-rate supporting lead character… so I was wondering as my wedding is coming up soon in the Philippines, I could be the lead character, and you play the supporting character…’

Audrey poked his nose. ‘My boyfriend is so shameless. How could you easily spout nonsense for a princess like me to be the supporting actress while you ugly panda will be the lead character?’

Daniel chuckled. ‘Can you please do it for me?’ He joked even more. ‘You ain’t young madam of Moon Corporation, so no one is looking at you. I am the only heir of a big company. You’re nothing compared to me.’

‘You’re right. I need to spend money to attend a wedding but I will never spend a cent on you,’ Audrey rolled her eyes as she drank her cappuccino.‘Then after your wedding I will marry a prince from Buckingham Palace. With my beautiful, glowing looks, I am sure to marry one of the Buckingham princes…’

‘I will never allow you to marry someone else,’ Daniel said, word for word.

‘You’re mine alone. My facial features look better than those of the handsome models. I am so good-looking that in your heart you want to hide me and not share me with anyone else…’

‘You’re the one thinking that…I am sure you are thinking that of me. My facial features are like an exquisite piece of art…’Audrey smiled proudly, looking at his handsome face.

‘Ooh, she even wants to stare at my face forever. I have fine-looking eyebrows, perfect chiseled nose and even thin sexy lips…’

Audrey instinctively started at his lips. Daniel reached for his croissant, taking a big bite, the corners of his lips turned up in a smile as he gazed at her sweetly. She was delicate and very beautiful. Even in the simple bright-yellow turtleneck top, blue jeans and black converse sneakers she wore, Audrey was still looking like the most beautiful princess in the world.

When he was about to lean forward and kiss her cherry lips, his phone vibrated. Daniel cursed at his phone for spoiling the moment for him and felt like smashing his phone. But then, he still pulled out his phone and realised it was a Whatsapp message from Chisom.

As he opened the message he saw the viral photo of Catherine and Prince together at a high-end seafood restaurant. He opened his eyes in shock.

‘What’s the matter, Daniel…?’

‘Have you seen this photo?’

‘What?’ Audrey leaned over to have a look, and she was amused. ‘Celine and Catherine had already explained everything to me. Celine went to the restaurant with Cath and Prince…just ignore the attention seeker that has created such photo to get so many likes and comments.’

Daniel’s phone started vibrating once again. The phone call was from Chisom. Daniel picked up the call to hear Chisom’s voice coming from the other side, saying smilingly, ‘I wish you don’t think too much about that photo. I had sent it to distract you a little.’

Hearing this, Daniel immediately hung up. He was angry at Chisom for deliberately spoiling his moment. He had wanted to kiss Audrey’s cherry lips but Chisom ruined it with her silly behavior.

Audrey smiled and said, ‘Daniel, did something happen?’

Daniel sighed and replied, ‘My sister told me that she sent that photo to distract me…she could be a witch sometimes.’

‘You’re the witch,’Audrey chuckled. Then, suddenly, her gaze fell on two secondary school girls who were holding a strawberry ice-cream cone on their hands as they blissfully passed by.

The sight of these school girls with their delicious ice-cream made her to crave for ice-cream.

Daniel immediately noticed how Audrey’s eyes were fixed on the ice-cream, so he quickly stood up from his seat as he said, ‘I will get one for you.’

The ice-cream shop was not far away from the cafe, and right in front  were smartly dressed school children queuing up to buy ice-cream of their choice of flavour.

Audrey immediately turned to Daniel. She was so grateful that he was able to read her thoughts and what she wanted. He was indeed the best, she smiled sweetly at him.

‘I know you like the strawberry one, but I will get you the one mixed with vanilla. It tastes better.’ After speaking Daniel walked over to the ice-cream shop

As Daniel approached the ice-cream shop he thought of the best way to get the ice-cream quickly for Audrey without keeping her waiting. Seeing the long queue, he turned his head towards Audrey who was staring happily at him. Smiling, he turned back to the students and said, ‘Today, I am going to treat you all.’

The students happily turned to look at him.

‘Well, if that’s the case, then I think you should get me the pineapple flavor,’ a beautiful, tall, slim girl said with a chuckle.

‘I want the strawberry one,’ another said.

‘I want Mango…’

‘Okay, I will buy all the flavours ordered buy you guys,’ Daniel said with a smile, as he moved forward. He paid for every one of the students, and then bought a special cone filled with eight different flavours for Audrey. He had wanted to buy just the strawberry one mixed with vanilla, but instead decided to buy different flavours for Audrey. She was special and so deserved to be treated special.

Audrey watched as Daniel came back, holding a colourful huge ice-cream in his hand. Placing the ice-cream before Audrey, he sat down to blissfully watch her eat her ice-cream.

Audrey reached for the ice-cream cone, scooping   a spoonful of ice-cream; she brought it before Daniel’s mouth and playfully fed him with the icream before taking a bite.

Audrey didn’t want to eat the ice-cream alone, so she fed Daniel as well as fed herself with the delicious ice-cream. They were both very happy, and when the ice-cream was finished, they both stood up to head for Chioma’s house, for the wedding preparation.
